Webinar: Transforming finance for biodiversity and climate action

What is needed for the finance sector to meet the urgent short-term needs of nature finance, while simultaneously initiating longer-term transformations in the finance sector? Join us on April 26th from 11:00 to 12:00 CET for a webinar aimed at fostering dialogue among influential individuals driving change at the convergence of biodiversity conservation, nature restoration, and finance.  

Organised by the Transpath project in partnership with the European Business & Biodiversity Platform, this webinar is part of an ongoing effort by the European Commission’s Horizon Europe programme to support the ‘Enabling Transformative Change’ pillar of the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030. It brings together academics, experts, and finance practitioners to discuss potential strategies for transforming finance, and jointly explore what is needed to amplify and sustain the change. 

The event will acquaint you with the network of Horizon Europe projects dedicated to business and finance. Additionally, potential strategies for reshaping finance, gleaned from a comprehensive analysis of EU policies and scientific literature, will be presented.
