The EU B@B Platform’s webinar series on Nature Positive: a major contribution to the current debate

The European Business@Biodiversity Platform is almost at the end of the series of five webinars on Nature Positive in a business context.

After the first webinar in May, which introduced the Nature Positive concept (slides available online), the three September webinars focused on nine case studies from different industries and sectors:

  • Case study #1 | 15 September 2022
The webinar focused on the case of Schneider Electric, ASN Bank and Spadel.
Check out the slides and recording.
  • Case study #2 | 22 September 2022
The webinar focused on the case of Vattenfall, Barrat Homes, Transport for London and Nuveen Natural Capital.
Check out the slides and recording.
  • Case study #3 | 29 September 2022
The webinar focused on the case studies of Oxford University and CEMBUREAU.
Check out the slides and recording.

Building on these case studies, the European Business@Biodiversity Platform has refined its ‘working definition’ of nature positive in a business context. Consult the 'working definition' here. The main findings of the webinar series and the ‘working definition’ will be presented at the European Business and Nature Summit 2022 on 18 October in Brussels, during the last session of the Nature Positive series (Session 6 in EBNS), which includes a panel discussion with representatives of the business community.

The findings of the webinar series and additional sections on water positive and carbon neutrality will be collected in a Thematic Report on ‘nature positive in a business context’ expected to be published in November before COP15 in Montreal, Canada.
